Please Don’t Stare at My Stairs or Hairs
I was hoping I’d be able to join Beth, a fellow thrifty blogger, in her Stair At My Staircase Party. However, I have the world’s worse stair case ever. The last thing I should be doing is highlighting my feeble attempts to pretty them up. Additionally, I’m far from finished, so I have nothing exciting to share here. LOL!
But, here’s what I’m working with.
We have all builders grade trim.
I’m priming all of the wood
(actually all of our trim in the entire house),
and painting it white.
After, we’ll paint the walls, add wainscoting, and some pretty decor.
Then, when I’m done it will look like this
LOL!

Wouldn’t that be great if after some primer and paint our stairs would turn into that?!
I wanted to join in the party also, but my stairs are ugly and I wasn’t as clever as you to post anyway.

Thanks you guys! I thought for sure, at least, I’d be able to finish painting and decorating before the party. But when I realized that nothing extraordinary was going to happen I went into panic mode. I said I was gonna do it and didn’t want to flake out at the last minute. So, I figured I might as well disclose the ugly, unfinished truth.
That was my first blog party so now I know I need to be bettered prepared next time-LOL!

You are so funny. It’d be awesome if you could turn the first picture into the second. That’s a big job your doing with all the trim, but I know it’s going to look amazing when your done.
